The Walk

This was a 'short walk' proposed by Paul.  About two hours drive east from Gokharna is Unchalli Waterfall.  Seemed like - and was - a great idea.  We - Paul, Klaus, Walter and me - tried to set out early, but got there reasonably anyway by jeep.  Since this entry has a lot of pictures, I'll add them over a few sessions, at natural breaks (or maybe not).

A short temple stop.

Familiars at an observation point.

The falls.

So, some distance below us through the jungle bush, along a dubious trail, was our real destination.

One of these people knew the way down

These are the easy parts, where I didn't need my hands as well.

Look up once in a while - when you can

Where it's at....

Making tea.

The trip back....ouch.

Last view.

Reviewing the day?

A maker of fine chai and seller of spices.

A flat....

....waiting....

Truck stop for tire repair.

Phoning home.

Doing a bit of business.

A little refreshment.
